Squid Game star Jung Ho-yeon cemented her place in the fashion world, turning up in some of award season’s best and buzziest looks. To craft each winning ensemble, Jung enlisted Yun Aeri, her best friend and stylist. Jung has been a fashion star for years, but with Yun’s keen eye, the Screen Actors Guild Award-winner seamlessly translated that sparkle from the runway to the red carpet.

We’ve witnessed Chanel and Khaite moments along the ascent, but perhaps their splashiest collab to date came about at the SAG Awards, where Jung stepped out in a custom, hand-embroidered Louis Vuitton dress (she’s the brand’s global ambassador) complete with a black, silk jacquard base, glittering crystal embroidery, and a hair accessory reminiscent of a daenggi, a traditional Korean hair ribbon.

Yun followed that look up with a string of LV moments, all in black, including a sparkly mini for the Producers Guild Awards, a sleeveless floor-length with a velvet vest featuring gold embroidery for the Gotham Awards and a bubble-hemmed babydoll dress for a Queue photoshoot. All of these looks were finished with what has become a Ho-yeon signature and now a must-have: studded wedge boots.

Their ongoing partnership proves that “best friend” and “work friend” can be one in the same. Find you a bestie that you can binge your fave shows with and who can provide you with a red carpet-ready look, all in a day’s work. Now, that’s friendship.
