Adapted from the best-selling Japanese manga series of all time, Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE is a seafaring fantasy that’s equal parts zany comedy and epic fight scenes, taking place across eye-catching imaginary landscapes. Oda-sensei’s creative stories, inhabited by all manner of creatures, have captured the imaginations of hundreds of millions of readers worldwide. Now, this live-action series is sure to do the same.

The story begins with soon-to-be executed pirate king Gold Rogers revealing that his treasure, known as the One Piece, is somewhere in the wide world, awaiting any soul brave enough to seek it. One such adventurer is street urchin-turned-pirate Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), whose body bends and stretches like rubber because of a plant he ate called Gomu Gomu no Mi. His determination to find the treasure leads him on the adventure of a lifetime, as the extraordinary, straw-hat-wearing hero will stop at nothing to find Gold Rogers’s hoard.

Luffy links up with skilled swordsman Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu) and stealthy navigator Nami (Emily Rudd) to steal a coveted map from the Marines, a branch of the world government, that will lead them to the legendary treasure. With the help of his crew, including slingshot-wielding Usopp and generous chef Sanji, Luffy’s determined to find the One Piece and earn the respect of his fellow pirates, without getting caught by the Marines. It’s a swashbuckling tale not to be missed.
