It was 35 years ago that two brothers captured the world’s attention after they fatally shot their parents in the ritzy Beverly Hills neighborhood their seemingly picture-perfect family called home. The layered cases of Lyle and Erik Menendez are now portrayed onscreen by Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch in executive producer Ryan Murphy’s thrilling crime series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

Nicholas Alexander Chavez wears light-wash jeans and a white tank top and stands against a pink backdrop.

The elder Menendez brother, Lyle, who faces expulsion from Princeton and crippling pressure from his family, is fiercely rendered by Daytime Emmy Award-winning Chavez. Koch plays Erik, the sensitive younger sibling who struggles under the weight of a successful tennis career. The pair more than hold their own opposite an impressive ensemble of acting heavyweights, including Oscar winner Javier Bardem and Golden Globe winner Chloë Sevigny — who star as their parents José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez — Ari Graynor, Leslie Grossman, and Emmy winner Nathan Lane as the legendary journalist Dominick Dunne.

Cooper Koch wears jeans and a light blue button down.

When the first installment of the Monster anthology, DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, premiered, it captivated audiences globally, and the unnerving yet heartbreaking tour-de-force performances from Chavez and Koch are sure to do the same.
