Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw unite their immense talents onscreen as they team up in the sleek spy thriller series Black Doves. Set in a Christmastime London, Helen (The Imitation Game’s twice Oscar-nominated Knightley), a charming mother and politician’s wife — and member of the spy organization Black Doves — learns her secret lover Jason (Warrior’s Andrew Koji) has been murdered and finds herself in danger of being caught. The threat leads her spymaster, Reed (Happy Valley’s three-time BAFTA TV Award-winning Sarah Lancashire), to call upon Helen’s old friend and colleague Sam (A Very English Scandal’s Emmy-winning Whishaw) to return to London and keep Helen out of harm’s way. As the duo work to find out why Jason has been murdered, they uncover a global conspiracy that intertwines with their own murky pasts. The twisty drama sees two of Britain’s brightest stars of the screen transform into chilling assassins, bringing the audience down with them into a gritty underworld of espionage.
